Registration is now open for The Sedona Conference Working Group 12 Annual Meeting on November 4-5, 2019 in Charlotte. A welcome reception is scheduled for November 3rd, beginning at 6:00pm.
Chair James Pooley of James Pooley PLC, Vice-Chair Vicki Cundiff of Paul Hastings, and distinguished judges, government officials, outside counsel (both employment and litigation), and in-house counsel will lead a document-based dialogue to advance the current WG12 commentary drafting team efforts on the following topics:
- Identification of Trade Secrets
- The Employee Life Cycle Relating to Trade Secrets
- Governance and Management of Trade Secrets
- Equitable Remedies in Trade Secret Disputes
- Monetary Remedies in Trade Secret Disputes
- Protecting Trade Secrets in Litigation About Them
- Trade Secret Issues Across International Borders
- Judicial Roundtable
HOTEL INFORMATION
We have obtained a very favorable group rate at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge of $259 per night (plus tax) for a limited block of rooms on the evenings of Nov. 4th and Nov. 5th. The favorable room rate is available for three nights preceding and three nights following the meeting, subject to availability. There are also a limited number of rooms available at the prevailing government rate. This room block expires on October 21, 2019. Reservation information will be provided in your meeting registration confirmation email.
MEMBERSHIP
In order to attend the meeting you must be a member of WG12. If you are interested in attending the meeting but are not yet a member, please become a member by signing up for a Working Group Series (WGS) membership. Once a WGS member, one is eligible to take part in the activities of all Working Groups, including WG12.
