Marc Adler
Marc is a patent attorney with more than 35 years’ experience both in private practice and as in-house Chief IP counsel for a multi-national specialty chemical and advanced materials company. He was Chief IP counsel for Rohm and Haas Company for 20 years and was responsible for all patent, trademark, and trade secret matters for the company including the internal protection and enforcement of the company’s trade secrets. He was involved in many judicial actions in U.S. and foreign jurisdictions. In private practice he advises companies on their trade secret protocols and practices. Marc is a long-term board of director and past president of the Intellectual Property Owners Association, the Association of Chief Patent Counsel, and served on the USPTO Patent Office Public Advisory Committee. His technical background is in chemical engineering (BSChE and MSCHE) with focus in the petrochemical and polymer areas. |
