All-Sedona Online Town Hall Forum on Police Brutality and Systemic Racial Injustice

Date: June 23, 2020

Time: 1:00 p.m. EDT

Duration: 60 minutes

The Sedona Conference invites all members to an online Town Hall Forum to discuss ways in which we can utilize the power of dialogue and move from thought to action on the issues of police brutality and systemic racial injustice. The dialogue leaders will suggest and entertain ways in which The Sedona Conference and its members can lead initiatives to seek an end to police brutality and misconduct, create new Sedona  Conference materials such as a Proclamation on Justice and Equality, address the line separating the legal use of reasonable force from the illegal use of unreasonable or excessive force, and other ways to tackle systemic racial injustice.  Participants in the Town Hall will consider the creation of a new working group on Pro Bono Representation and Civil Rights to support these initiatives on an ongoing basis.

The Town Hall Forum is free and open to all current Sedona Conference Working Group Series members and sponsors. Prior registration is required. Details regarding participation will be included in your registration confirmation.
