Mark Cohen
Mark joined the University of California Berkeley Law School in December 2017 as a Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, and Director of the new BCLT Asia IP Project. Prior to this, he was the first Senior lead for the USPTO China team in China and Washington, DC. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in China and transition economies. Mark has been honored as an IP Champion by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (2014), and an IP Trailblazer by the National Law Journal (2017), and has numerous publications on IP, antitrust and IP and the practice of law in China. He continues to teach as an adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School, and as a Guest Professor at Renmin University, China. Mark holds a J.D. degree from Columbia University an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin in Chinese language and literature, and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in Chinese studies. Mark is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar. |
