Jen Coleman
Jen is a Partner of Spencer Fane LLP, and a member of Spencer Fane’s Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment and Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups. As a trial lawyer, she represents clients in complex litigation cases, including patents, trade secret misappropriation, employee mobility issues, and fraud relating to complex financial transactions. Jen has been involved in cases with diverse technologies, such as: automotive air intake and air filtration systems; conical crushers; digital picture frames; DRAM; financial business methods; flash memory; laser microscopes and solid immersion lenses; operating system and application software, firmware, and hardware; phenolic resins; time-stamped geospatial digital controls; wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n standards and systems; real-time web transactions from web applications and wireless modems; Solaris OS, patches, and accompanying firmware; RF technology, and natural language, voice recognition. Jen also handles employment disputes involving remediation, single plaintiff and class action wage and hour controversies, unfair competition, claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; leaves of absences; employment policies and procedures; employee discipline; hiring practices; and workplace violence. Jen is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention & Production (WG1), a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Trade Secrets (WG12), and a member of EDRM Global Advisory Council. |
