April spent over a decade at the National Security Agency, stepping down from her position as the National Security Agency’s Associate General Counsel for Intelligence Law to join the private sector as a partner at the law firm of Saul Ewing, where she advises clients on cybersecurity issues including incident response, privacy, big data governance, surveillance law and process, and other cybersecurity-related issues. Prior to her service at the NSA, April spent a number of years as a public defender, civil litigator, and in-house counsel in higher education. |
