David is the Sr. Vice President for Intellectual Property of salesforce.com, Inc. and is responsible for its worldwide intellectual property. Prior to joining salesforce.com in 2013, he was the Chief Patent Counsel for Intel Corporation. He spent fifteen years in private practice, specializing in intellectual property matters and was a member of the California State Bar committee that drafted California’s version of the Uniform Trade Secret Act. David is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Georgetown University Law Center, and has spoken on a variety of IP matters before both the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. He is a board member of the High Tech Inventors Alliance and served as a board member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association and the IP Advisory Board for George Washington Law School.
