Bill has won trials, successfully defended against expedited relief, and secured multi-million dollar awards and verdicts for his clients. He is the leader of the law firm’s Intellectual Property team, having spent over 20 years litigating and trying cases in trial and appellate courts, the International Trade Commission, and at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney. Bill has held numerous positions in various bar organizations, including President of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and a delegate to the ABA’s House of Delegates. He is also a Co-Editor of BNA’s Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook.
