Jane is a Partner in and Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group at Thompson & Knight. She represents national and international clients in intellectual property disputes before federal trial and appellate courts, the International Trade Commission, and before arbitration panels. Jane’s practice includes patent validity and infringement, licensing, unfair competition, trademark and copyright, trade secret disputes, and document retention. In addition to her intellectual property practice, she focuses on legal issues impacting the art industry. Jane has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers, IAM Patent 1000 , and IP Stars for many years. She is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Bar Foundation, Texas Bar Foundation, and DRI- The Voice of the Defense Bar . Jane received her law degree, with honors, from Louisiana State University and her B.A., summa cum laude , from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
