Emily is the founder of CyberSmart Law (a division of Duke Law Office), a boutique law firm focusing on the needs of small and medium-sized companies in the areas of data protection, cybersecurity law and commercial litigation. She advises clients on data security, mitigating risk, and protecting business know-how, trade secrets and assets. Emily has been recognized as a NorthStar Lawyer by the Minnesota Bar Association since 2013, and was the 2005 recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners Woman of Achievement Award. Emily received her J.D. in 1994 from Harvard Law School.
