Roy is a partner at the Stonecipher Law Firm in Pittsburgh. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and e-commerce and technology. Roy’s litigation experience has included complex commercial matters involving business torts, breach of contract, unfair competition, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, oil & gas, securities fraud, shareholder and partnership disputes, adversary proceedings, construction, copyrights, trademarks, and domain name protection. Roy’s litigation experience has often been national in scope, and includes serving as lead trial counsel in nationwide products liability litigation. In e-commerce and technology, his experience includes drafting software license agreements, webmaster license agreements, content licenses, marketing and online listing agreements, media agreements, fulfillment agreements, terms and conditions of use, and privacy policies. He is a frequent speaker on electronic discovery issues and regularly advises clients in matters involving document preservation and collection, electronic document policies and protocols, litigation hold policies and procedures, and the review of electronically stored information. Roy is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Legal Technology and eDiscovery Committee. Roy received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Dayton. |
