Sharon Nelson
Sharon is the President of Sensei Enterprises, Inc., a digital forensics, information security and information technology firm. She is the author of an electronic evidence blog, Ride the Lightning and is a co-host of the Legal Talk Network podcast series called The Digital Edge: Lawyers and Technology as well as Digital Detectives. Sharon is the author of eleven books published by the ABA and hundreds of articles, and she speaks on legal technology, information security and electronic evidence topics. She is the President of the Fairfax Law Foundation and was the President of the Virginia State Bar June 2013-June 2014. She is a past President of the Fairfax Bar Association, a Director and the Treasurer of the Fairfax Law Foundation and serves as a member of ARMA’s E-Discovery Advisory Group. Sharon is the current Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Education Board and a former Chair of its Publishing Board. She serves on the ABA’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force and on its Standing Committee on Technology and Information Systems. The Virginia Supreme Court appointed Sharon to the Statewide E-Filing Committee beginning in 2010. She is a member the Virginia Women’s Attorneys Association and the Northern Virginia Chapter of Women in E-Discovery. |
