David M. Greenwald
David, an accomplished trial lawyer, is a partner with Jenner & Block LLP. He has tried cases in federal and state courts, arbitrated cases in the U.S. and Europe, and conducted criminal and civil internal investigations on three continents. David is a thought leader regarding protecting clients’ confidential, privileged, and work product protected information, including electronically stored information (ESI) in litigation, arbitration, and government investigations; and regarding ways to minimize the cost of discovery in U.S. based proceedings. David is co-author of the comprehensive treatise Testimonial Privileges (West 2019), co-editor of the International Bar Association treatise Privilege and Confidentiality: An International Handbook (Bloomsbury 2012), editor of Protecting Confidential Legal Information: A Handbook for Analyzing Issues Under The Attorney-Client Privilege And Work Product Doctrine (Jenner & Block 2019), and co-author of the Government Investigations Reference Model (GICLI 2019). David was co-Team Leader for The Sedona Conference’s Commentary on Protection of Privileged ESI (August 2015). |
