Andrea is an Assistant Attorney General for the Consumer Protection Division of the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. She is the Office’s lead privacy attorney and is responsible for investigating and litigating cases involving consumers’ personal information, data security, and violations of state and federal privacy-related laws. She also serves as a consumer privacy expert and advisor on legislative issues, including the My Health My Data Act, which provides added protections for non-HIPAA covered health information. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Andrea worked as a litigation associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP based out of the firm’s New York City and Washington, D.C. offices.
