Guido is a member of the Board of the Italian Data Protection Authority. He is a lawyer, journalist, and adjunct professor of new technology law. Guido is also the former head of regulatory affairs of the digital transformation team of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Legal Advisor to the Minister for Innovation. He founded studio ELex of which he was a partner until he assumed the position at the Italian Data Protection Authority. He is deputy representative of the Italian Government to the Government Advisory Board of ICANN. He is also the author of several books, a blogger for L'Espresso and Il Fatto Quotidiano, and writes for Mashable Italia, Corriere delle Comunicazioni and Agendadgitale.eu.
