Kenneth S. Korea
Ken joined Samsung in February 2011 as head of its newly created US IP Center (SV). His responsibilities include IP Acquisition, IP Licensing, and IP Litigation. Upon graduation from law school, Ken worked as a judicial law clerk, and in the U.S. Attorney’s Office as a federal prosecutor. After five years of government service, he entered private practice as a patent litigator at several top tier law firms. His practice evolved from patent litigation into a diverse IP practice that includes IP counseling and mergers and acquisitions involving high-tech companies. Ken received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, where he was on the editorial board for Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. |
