Robert is a distinguished leader serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Information Governance at iDS. With three decades and counting of extensive management consulting experience, Robert specializes in providing strategic counsel, operational expertise, and technological infrastructure solutions in the domains of compliance, information governance, and security. Before joining iDS, Robert established an illustrious career path, spending twelve years at Deloitte Consulting, a decade at Duff & Phelps, and four years managing his own consulting firm. Throughout his tenure, he crafted consulting practices tailored to meet the unique needs of legal-oriented organizations, including law firms, and corporate and government legal and compliance departments. A seasoned educator, Robert has shared his expertise as an instructor for the SANS Institute, where he has mentored over 1,000 students in both technical and managerial courses covering cybersecurity and information management. His contributions extend to collaborating with various organizations to design and implement controls essential for achieving certifications such as ISO 27001, documenting compliance with SOX 404 controls, and establishing System & Organization Controls (SOC).
