Sr. Judge Jerome B. Abrams
The Honorable Jerome B. Abrams is a Senior District Court Judge in Minnesota. He is also an Arbitrator, Mediator and Special Master with JAMS. He is a Board Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a member of the American Bar Association, and Treasurer for American College of Business Court Judges. He was recognized as the ABOTA Minnesota Chapter Trial Judge of the Year in 2019. Judge Abrams has recently been inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel. Judge Abrams presents nationally and internationally to judges and lawyers on civil justice topics including online dispute resolution, eDiscovery, and complex case management. He is a co-author of a recent publication on complex case litigation published by the ABA, and authors chapters on ESI Discovery, and Insurance Coverage for Business Torts in other publications. Judge Abrams serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Minnesota and Mitchell-Hamline Law Schools. Judge Abrams is a regular contributor to the Judicial Integrity Initiative, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Before his judgeship, Judge Abrams was in private practice for 27 years. His practice areas covered complex civil litigation in many areas including: insurance coverage, products liability, asbestos, pharmaceuticals, World Trade Center claims, medical implants, and environmental liability. |
