Patrick Garbe
Patrick, a former litigation paralegal with over 30 years of experience, is an electronic discovery knowledge and strategy manager. As the paralegal manager at Mayer Brown from 1997 to 2007, he worked heavily on civil litigations, government investigations, discovery matters, and trial preparation. In 2007, he transitioned to his current role in order to concentrate on assisting clients and litigation teams navigate the electronic discovery process. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, he was a paralegal at two large law firms located in New York and California from 1986 to 1997. During those years, he was a lead paralegal on several high-profile mergers and acquisitions involving Second Request submissions, Qui Tam Act (False Claims Act) investigations involving defense contractors and several federal and state court trials. Throughout his career, Patrick has focused on using advanced technologies to manage cases and investigations. Most recently many of these matters involve data protection laws and cyber security issues. |
