Angelica M. Ornelas
Angelica has substantial experience litigating class actions and other complex matters. At Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, she represents plaintiffs in consumer privacy litigation. Before BFA, Angelica was an attorney at Girard Sharp, specializing in consumer protection and financial products litigation. She served as co-class counsel in Prather v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., representing individuals who received illegal automated calls and text messages. Angelica was also a member of the litigation team in Daccache v. Raymond James Financial, Inc., brought on behalf of victims of the Jay Peak investment fraud—the largest in the history of the EB-5 visa program—and Larson v. John Hancock Life Insurance Company, a certified class action alleging deduction of improperly inflated cost of insurance charges from customers’ life insurance policies. Angelica graduated from Berkeley Law. After law school, she clerked for the U.S. District Court (N.D. Cal.) and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D. Nev.). |
