John is a Chambers-ranked business trial lawyer who is co-head of BakerHostetler’s national Noncompete & Trade Secrets Practice Group. He was the founding chair of the Trade Secrets Committee of the New York City Bar Association and previously served as a PLI Program Chair on Protecting Corporate IP Assets: Enforcing Restrictive Covenants in the Employment Context. He has litigated trade secrets and noncompete cases in federal or state courts in more than a dozen states, frequently handles related arbitrations at FINRA, and has recently tried two large group raiding damages cases to juries.  His writings on trade secrets and noncompete issues have been published in the New York Law Journal, the National Law Journal, as well as in various trade publications and an academic law review.
