John is a member of Mitchell Williams and has practiced from its Little Rock office since 1997. John’s practice is concentrated in the areas of class action, contract, tax, and business tort litigation. For many years, he has enjoyed an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and been ranked among the best litigators in Arkansas by various publications. John serves as a court-appointed member of the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice and recently led the work in updating Rule 45 of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure. When not practicing law, he focuses on charity works through various non-profit organizations he has founded including Tree Streets, Inc. (urban forestry) and Great Southern Stone Skipping Championships, Inc. (hunger relief). John is married to the Honorable Kristine Baker, who sits in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, and is the father of four children.
