Chad is Executive Managing Director and Central Region Leader of Stroz Friedberg, with 19 years of professional service experience, including strategic and subject-matter expertise, to network and enterprise security, network intrusion, data breach and theft, digital and mobile-device forensics, internal investigations, insider threats, SCADA/ICS, PCI, big data problems and analytics, trade-secret and identity theft, cybercrime, privacy, embezzlement, and fraudulent-financial-transaction matters. He also researches, writes, and is a speaker on cyber security, security in the energy industry, emerging technologies, Blockchain, virtual currencies, encryption, e-commerce, and alternative payment options. Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Chad was a partner at Baker Botts LLP with a national litigation practice and appearances in federal or state courts in 25 different states and multiple arbitration forums. His law practice focused on data security, privacy, data access, and data theft matters, and is former Chairman of the State Bar of Texas Privacy & Data Security Committee.
