Bryan Richardson
Bryan has represented patent holders and alleged infringers for well over 20 years in patent litigation and licensing matters. He is currently a vice president and senior legal counsel at Wi-LAN where his primary responsibilities include patent licensing, acquisitions, and litigation. Before joining Wi-LAN, for over ten years he served as a director of licensing and litigation for Samsung Electronics. At Samsung he led technical and business negotiations and managed litigation including twelve trials in the ITC and various district courts. In nine years of private practice at Howrey & Simon, Cooley Godward, and Paul Hastings, Bryan focused on patent litigation and was lead counsel in two victorious jury trials. In his extensive international travels, Bryan has enjoyed getting to know the legal arenas, people, and cultures of Brazil, Korea, Germany, China, Taiwan, and Japan. |
