Douglas has specialized in antitrust at 4 law firms over a period of 25 years - most recently at Sonnenschein, from which he just retired. From 1977-1980 he served as the Chief of the Foreign Commerce Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. DOJ. Douglas has given antitrust advice relating to every major economic sector of modern nation states, and has helped clear some 80 mergers and joint ventures, only one of which was abandoned after announced government opposition. He is one of a handful of experts on issues of international jurisdictional conflict and is increasingly working on issues of antitrust and market dominance in high technology industries. |
